Thursday saw the last day of the Kids' Photography Camp: three half-days that were all about discovering some of the elements that make an engaging photo. The girls were clever and insightful with their interpretations, showing that they can see beyond the standard pretty picture.

The final segment saw us in the studio setup to end the camp with their own mini model shoot. They totally rocked and left me in stitches from the laughter. Two of the things I like doing most are photography and teaching: it doesn't get much better than encouraging a bunch of kids to foster their own creativity.
The girls are gone, table is cleared and the house is quiet. But that's okay, because I'm planning the curriculum for a follow-on photography camp. What's your child doing next school holidays?
