We were short on attendees for photo camp in the September-October school holidays; one of the kids had to go out of town at the last minute - and he's now pre-registered for the next workshop. Even though spring had officially begun, it sure didn't seem that way but Alyssa, Amira, Tia and Rose weren't going to let a little rain and cold wind stop them!
The curriculum for the 102-level workshop is the same as Kids' Camp from the July school holidays, but tailored to an older age group: 12-14 years. They had a different way of looking at things which was just as enjoyable and interesting - it was so much fun to see their creativity and insightful responses as they learned to look at and make images in a more discerning way.
As expected, Rocky Dog despised every minute of it and barely tolerated all the adoring attention that came his way...
Is your child showing an interest in photography? Visit my Workshops page for information on upcoming camps. Each age group has two different levels, designed so that the 200 level builds on what is learned in the 100 level classes.
