The LupinBay Kids Photography Camp is under way! Amy, Ashlee, Bonnie, Molly and Poppy turned up ready to have some fun behind the lens and Rocky wasn't about to turn away an adoring crowd.
Day One was all about emotion in images and fostering your own vision or style to show how you see things around you. We studied a selection of photos and talked about how they made us feel - some of their interpretations were wonderfully insightful. Next, we refused to let a dreary winter day keep us housebound and went on a short walk to collect some items to photograph.
The girls managed to find quite a selection of windfall items - no plants were harmed in the making of these images. Well... except maybe for one flower from Mum's garden. Shhh - don't tell her!
The girls took turns at arranging and then photographing the items we collected on our walk.
We discovered what the inspiration was behind each arrangement - it was so much fun for me to see how clear their individual visions were.
Of course, once we were done with the arrangements, Rocky suffered himself to play Doggy Model, patiently 'enduring' the attention which was lavished upon him. What a champ!
