We had a lucky break in the weather just in time for this week's challenge, so Rocky and I got to go outside and play with his favourite toy. Contrary to the old saying, you can teach an old dog new tricks, but only if he feels like doing them.
Rocky loves - no seriously, LOVES playing chase with the ball. When I first met him though, that meant chasing after and stopping the ball when I threw it, then waiting for me to come and get it so I could throw it again. It took a bit of persistence, but eventually he realised that the game lasted a lot longer if he brought it back to me.
We're past the winter solstice down here in the Southern Hemisphere and dawn is coming a little earlier every day; dusk a little later. Another couple of months and things will start to warm up and dry out - including Rocky's ball, which won't be quite as soggy when he drops it at my feet. Yay for small mercies.
Next up this week is Elaine at i got the shot photography - let's go see what she came up with for this challenge. The Project 52 challenges are a circular blog post set involving photographers from around the world. Keep clicking through the links until you come back here. Enjoy!
