It was fun seeing what everyone posted for last week's P52 theme: Gardens. This time around we're tasked with catching our furry friends sleeping, which was not too difficult given my two four footers.
Horse takes his turn at the banner image this week, curled up in his favourite sunny spot on our bed. Even though winter is making its presence felt (I saw on the weather report this morning that Desert Road / SH1 is closed due to snow), Horse still likes to roam around at night. He's no doubt out looking for mice who are most likely snuggling up in their warm mouse houses.
Rocky, on the other hand, knows inside is best at night during winter. He's getting on a bit these days, so he likes to catch several bouts of 40 winks throughout the day. Or maybe it's the regular runs around the property to chase rabbits that tires him out. Luckily for them, they're a little faster than possums.
Rocky drifting off to sleep with his sticky-uppy ear.
In this first one, he's just starting to drift off. His ear does this sticky-uppy thing when he lies on his side and tilts his head a certain way.
The one below is his usual pose: chin flat on the floor, making his lips squish out. It won't be long until he starts snoring, then wuffling and wiggling his paws as he dreams about chasing those darn rabbits.
