Your question: "What activities can my kids do these school holidays?"
My answer: "I need five kids to beta test the lessons for my Kids' Photography Camp."
If your child is interested in learning how to make better photographs, here's their opportunity. I held classes for kids when I lived in the USA, but I'm refreshing my curriculum and am looking for five 10-11 year olds to teach it to.
What do I mean by beta testing? Basically, opening up the lessons to the students so they can try the class out and let me know how they liked it. In return for letting me trial the class with your child, I'm offering you a reduced rate. The usual cost of this class is $120, but these July school holidays I'm running it for just $75 per child.
Here's the Who-What-When-Where-Why:
10-11 year olds (five of them!)
Lessons will cover the following topics - Emotion in Images, Photographing People, Basic Composition
Tues 12 July - Thurs 14 July, 9:30am - 1:00pm 3 days, 3.5 hours per day
To have fun learning the fundamentals of photography! We'll also compose images and photograph them, to encourage individual vision and creativity.
I'll provide the snacks for our mid-morning break; please make sure your child brings lunch and a camera (DSLR, point-&-shoot, phone camera).
THIS 3-DAY WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO FIVE KIDS!
Bookings will open on Monday, 27 June and will close immediately when the five seats are filled. This is a special introductory rate of $75 per child and the price will increase to $120 when the class is next offered.
Looking forward to tutoring your child next month!
